Brandon Berube

Brandon Berube (b. June 7, 2001) is a versatile low brass performer, educator, and arranger from Massachusetts. Equally at home in classical, commercial, and contemporary genres, Brandon is known for his expressive musicianship, dynamic stage presence, and wide-ranging musical interests.

Brandon recently toured Japan with the acclaimed theatrical production BLAST!, performing on tenor and bass trombone in major cities including Tokyo, Osaka, and others across the country. His professional work spans orchestral, big band, drum corp, and street brass ensemble settings, and his performances reflect a deep commitment to stylistic authenticity and artistic flexibility. Though classically trained, he frequently works in commercial music, jazz, and brass band music, bringing a vibrant and genre-crossing approach to the stage.

As a teacher and performer, Brandon is proficient on tenor trombone, bass trombone, euphonium, and tuba. He is also an active arranger and writer, contributing original charts and adaptations for various ensembles.

Brandon has studied privately with esteemed low brass artists including Pete Sullivan, Trevor Dix, and Ben Owens, whose mentorship has helped shape his dynamic artistic voice. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Trombone Performance from McGill University and is currently pursuing his Master of Music in Trombone Performance at Carnegie Mellon University.
